Welcome to Haas Elementary School!

I am proud to be associated with the Genesee School District. Our school services students in grades pre K-6. We offer smaller class sizes in the lower grades along with enrichment classes such as computers, physical education, choir and music instruction.

Our staff is caring and compassionate. All of the teachers focus on Grade Level Content Expectations provided by the State of Michigan and also have the freedom to be creative with their instructional techniques.

We have an active P.T.O. that provides many extras for students throughout the school year. Parent volunteers are encouraged. By being a parent volunteer you get the joy of helping students learn. It may be as simple as reading with a student in the hallway or working with a small group of kids on an art project or helping on a field trip. Whatever your task, however small you think it is, it may be just the thing that gets that one student to succeed. Never underestimate the power of a parent volunteer.

Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful is what we strive for on a daily basis. We reward students who are caught being good. We focus on the positive when ever possible. We feel that by doing this our student will grow up to be productive members in an ever changing world.
