Zi'yanna Mooring was recognized at the March 15th Board of Education meeting as a McDonalds Black History Maker of Tomorrow recipient. Zi'yanna was one of sixteen students across the state of Michigan who has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Zi'yanna plans to use this scholarship as she furthers her education this Fall at Central Michigan University where she will be majoring in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Business Management.
