Jr High Track traveled to Algonac for their first meet of the season. Here are some of the highlights!
Girls:
Mia Spencer came in first in the 100m dash and second in the 70 & 200. Reginae Randle claimed 1st in the shot put. Allison Abbott finished 2nd in both the 800 & 1600m with Hailee Pardee right behind her in third. Myra Brown came in 3rd for the 400m. Colby Tobert finished strong in the 70 & 100 m dashes. Zoey Tobert threw a nice 20’4” in the shot put.
Boys:
70 m dash had Chace Villarreal tied for first and Mason Ball close behind in 5th. In the 100 m dash Chace was 2nd and Mason was 5th. In the 200 m dash Chace was 1st, Mason 3rd, Jensen Dark-Whitsitt was 4th and Tristan Rothrock was 5th. In the 400 m dash Tristan finished 3rd.
BeauPowell came in second in the 800 and third in the mile run.
