High School Sports Begin Today! Grades 9–12
Practices start Monday, August 11 — but no participation without a valid physical (dated April 15, 2025 or later) AND a concussion form!

Varsity Football Try-Outs – 4:00-8:00 PM - Starting in the Weight Room
JV/Varsity Volleyball Try-Outs: 4:30-6:00 PM in the High School Gymnasium
High School Cheer Practice: 3:00-4:30 PM in the High School Gymnasium
Varsity Cross Country: 5:30-6:30 PM at the Track
Varsity Soccer (Co-ed): 3:00-4:30 PM at the Football Field

We’re excited to welcome our incoming 9th graders and new students to Genesee High School! Join us for an evening of introductions, helpful information, and a tour of the building. Students and families will meet staff, learn about academics and student life, and get ready for the first day of school.

The heat index will be at 104 for the rest of this week. Per MHSAA guidelines we are canceling all practices and athletic activities for this week. Indoor practices are only allowed if we had air conditioning, which we do not have.
Enjoy your families and stay safe. We should be able to return to our normal schedule next week.
Our Spring Meet the Team is Wednesday April 17th from 6:00-7:00 pm in the high school gymnasium.

Tonight's junior high volleyball game versus Bentley will still be played 5 PM in the junior high gym. Varsity boys and girls will still play at Bendle starting at 5:30 pm.
