The Michigan Autistic Adult Advisory Committee (MiA3) is leading a statewide needs assessment created by Autistic adults. They recently reviewed the data and are targeting regions where they need more responses. Genesee County is one area that came up that they would love more information from. They have requested that we share this information with our community.

Strong schools start with dedicated leaders who care deeply about students and community. Thank you, Mrs. Lucas, for your steady guidance, thoughtful decision-making, and commitment to helping our district grow and succeed.

Serving on a school board takes time, care, and a passion for education. We are grateful for the leadership and support you provide to our students, staff, and families each day. Mrs. Shelton, your service truly matters.

Averie Zinn delivered another performance for the record books tonight, scoring 57 points in a 79–61 Wolves win over Flint Elite.
With tonight’s game, Averie now sits at 2,088 career points, moving from 33rd to tied for 25th all-time on the Michigan girls basketball career scoring list.
The milestones do not stop there:
57 points marks the 11th highest single-game scoring performance in MHSAA girls basketball history
8 different games with 50+ points
43.88 points per game, currently #1 in the state
8+ steals per game, also #1 in the state
And this was a complete team effort:
Reginae Randle finished with 9 points and 13 rebounds
Rebekah Jones controlled the glass with 18 rebounds
These accomplishments are made possible by teammates doing the work that does not always show up in headlines—rebounding, defending, screening, and creating opportunities. Individual milestones are built on team trust, toughness, and togetherness.
The Lady Wolves are now 7-2 on the season. They travel to Flint Southwestern next Tuesday.
Go Wolves!

Our district benefits from leaders who listen, lead with integrity, and keep students at the center of every decision. Thank you, Mr. O'Brien, for your service and for helping shape a bright future for our schools.

School Board Appreciation Month!
Our students thrive because of leaders who care deeply about education and community. Thank you, Ms. Riggs, for the guidance, commitment, and countless hours you dedicate to ensuring our district continues to grow and succeed.

Tomorrow night, Averie Zinn will step onto the floor with the chance to do something incredibly rare, eclipse 2,000 career points, and place herself among the top 34 scorers in Michigan girls basketball history. Out of hundreds of thousands of girls who have played high school basketball in our state, this achievement puts her in the top one hundredth of one percent, truly elite company.
But milestones like this are never accomplished alone.
This moment reflects the countless hours in the gym, the teammates who trusted her, pushed her, and celebrated alongside her, the coaches who believed and challenged her, and the family, fans, and community who have filled the stands year after year. This is not just an individual accomplishment, this is a Genesee accomplishment.
We invite everyone to be part of this special night as Averie and our Wolves take on Clio in a home tripleheader.
