🎉✨ Innovators Night at Haas Elementary! ✨🎉 Our K-5 students proudly showcased their creativity and hard work at Innovators Night! From science projects to art displays, our students impressed their families with amazing presentations. 🧑‍🎨🔬 A big thank you to our wonderful community partners, as well as our dedicated teachers, staff, and principal, for their support in making this event a success! 🙌🏽💡 The hallways and classrooms were filled with inspiring projects that truly highlighted the talent and innovation of Haas Elementary! 💫

The Genesee Lions Club, in partnership with Mr. Yettaw, proudly hosted a special dinner for Genesee High School seniors tonight. The evening served as a celebration for the Class of 2025, offering students a chance to come together one final time before graduation on Thursday. Dinner was provided by the Lions Club, followed by thoughtful speeches reflecting on the seniors’ accomplishments and future aspirations! Congratulations to the Class of 2025! Go Wolves!

Congratulations to Genesee Alumni Preslie Riggs! Today, Preslie served as the guest speaker for the GCI CTE Early Middle College Cohort 6 graduation ceremony. A proud member of Cohort 4, Preslie completed her nursing pre-requisites through the program while attending Genesee. She is now excelling at Calvin University, where she is a member of the golf team, has studied abroad, and is on track to graduate next spring. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and the inspiration she continues to be for our students!

🌷 A Special Friday Afternoon for Our Moms 🌷 Our kindergarten classroom was filled with love, laughter, and lots of creativity as we celebrated Mother’s Day a little early! Moms joined their little ones for heartwarming stories about how special moms are, shared cookies and punch, created meaningful keepsakes, and even planted a flower in a hand-painted pot — a special gift from their child’s heart (and hands!). Thank you to all the amazing mothers and grandmothers who joined us, and a big thank-you to Mrs. Chapman and Mrs. Tuttle! Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

Zara Tuttle Named Genesee Career Institute CTE “Best of the Best” Award Winner We are proud to announce that Zara Tuttle has been selected as the GCI Career and Technical Education (CTE) “Best of the Best” Award recipient. Out of more than 4,000 seniors from the county graduating this spring, only 25 students were chosen for this prestigious recognition—and Zara is one of them. Zara’s selection as a “Best of the Best” honoree reflects her exceptional dedication, skill, and leadership in her CTE program. Her work ethic, character, and drive to excel have set her apart not only in the classroom but also in hands-on, career-focused learning environments. This award is not just about being good—it’s about being the best. And Zara truly is. Congratulations, Zara! Your Genesee family is incredibly proud of you!
